Tangipahoa Parish Fair
School Events
Taking pride in our youth!

Teachers and Staff give their time to represent their school and students. Each year schools create a booth based on that year's theme. In addition, students make posters and write poems and essays based on the theme. This is just one way in which the fair incorporates education into the fun.

Students from across the parish compete each year for the prized blue ribbon. From showing the animals they have cared for all year to displaying their craftsmanship and talents, we are proud of each and every student. Great Job! Keep up the good work.

Marching in the parade or competing in Shake Rattle and Roll, Tangipahoa Parish schools have spirit.

Following opening ceremonies on Wednesday of the fair, dance and cheer teams from across the parish battle it out for the treasured spirit stick. Join us for Shake Rattle and Roll and show your support for your
favorite team.

The Spelling Bee is a great way for children in grades 3rd, 5th and 7th to show just how smart Tangipahoa Parish children really are.  The competition is open to public, private and home-base students.  There is no limit on the number of children a school may enter. Parents may also register their children for the spelling bee. Contact Ms Gwen at
